Biographie
Matthew David McConaughey (geb. 4. November 1969) ist ein amerikanischer Schauspieler. Nach einer Reihe von Nebenrollen Anfang der 90er Jahre erregte McConaughey Aufmerksamkeit für seine Ausbruchrolle in Dazed and Confused (1993). In dieser Rolle entwickelte er zum ersten Mal die Idee seines Schlagworts "Nun gut, in Ordnung". Er spielte dann in Filmen wie A Time to Kill, Contact, U-571, Tiptoes, Sahara und We Are Marshall. McConaughey ist vor kurzem vor allem für seine Leistungen als führender Mann in den romantischen Komödien The Wedding Planner, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Failure to Launch, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past und Fool's Gold bekannt.
